Got Agua Communities - Africa

Nearly 345 million people lack access to clean drinking water in Africa.

Nearly 40% of people living in Africa do not have access to clean drinking water. As a result, nearly 750,000 children die before the age of 5 due to water borne disease.

Africa has one of the cleanest and largest water systems in the world, but with lack of access to this water many rural communities are at risk for water-related illnesses.

Without a central water system, many African residents are forced to pay private suppliers for water. These families spend a majority of their income on clean drinking water, only putting further tension on the African economy.
